Congratulations to current student Donovan Sebrango and CIHA staff Alain Raymond and Marie-Pierre Neron on being named to Team HEO for the 2018 OHL Gold Cup.
Donovan, who plays for CIHA White, is among the top 6 defenseman playing for Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), and was recently drafted 40th overall to the Kitchener Rangers in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.Alain, who is the head coach for CIHA Green was already named as assistant coach for Team HEO and a full profile on him can be found here.Marie-Pierre, who is enjoying her first year at CIHA as our Athletic Therapist will be taking on the same role for Team HEO.The OHL Gold Cup is an annual showcase event featuring top under-16 talent in Ontario. As part of the Hockey Canada Program of Excellence, select players from the OHL Gold Cup will be invited to attend the National Under-17 Selection Camp, where they will have a chance to compete with other top talent from across Canada to earn a spot at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.The event takes place May 3rd-6th in Kitchener, Ontario.
