CHATMAN SELECTED TO MALE U16 TEAM NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR
04/13/2018Congratulations to Brody Chatman, who has been selected to represent Newfoundland and Labrador’s Male U16 team at the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Excellence Challenge.
The Challenge will take place from April 26th-29th in Blainville-Boisbriand, Quebec. This is viewed as a signature event for QMJHL scouts as they lead up to the draft. Players will also get to participate in on and off ice testing for the Draft Combine. This event will also be scouted by Hockey Canada’s U17 scouting staff as they piece together three teams for the World U17 Hockey Challenge in the Fall of 2018.This is a huge accomplishment for Brody and a testament to his development as he has steadily progressed throughout the season. Initially slated to play on the Midget AA team, he was quickly moved up to AAA where he became a mainstay on the 1st line for CIHA Green. For more information on the event, click here.
