Congratulations to alumni Charles Pigeon and Samuel Trapper who were selected in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League 2024 Draft!

Charles was selected in the 4th round, 60th overall by the Gatineau Olympiques and Samuel was taken by the Val-d’Or Foreurs in the 10th round, 175th overall.

Both players attended CIHA for two years from 2021-2023 and played for U15 AAA. They were both underage players in 2021-2022 and then played their true U15 season in 2022-2023.

Charles is a strong two-way center who can play in any situation. He scored 35 points in 59 games across his two seasons with U15 AAA. He also captained the team in 2022-2023 and played 5 games for U17 Prep, putting up 3 points in 5 games.

This season, Charles played at Northwood School putting up 82 points in 55 games.

Samuel is a powerful defenseman who defends well and finishes every check. He added 10 points in 56 games over his two seasons with U15 AAA. He also played in 6 games with U18 Varsity and one game with U17 Prep in 2022-2023.

Samuel continued his development this season with Rouyn-Noranda U17 AAA, contributing 22 points in 35 games.
