Kyler Amsbury is an award-nominated educator and coach from Peterborough, Ontario.

Kyler completed his teacher training at an elite sport academy in Jyväskylä, Finland and coached the JYP U13 AAA Boys hockey club from 2013-2015.

Kyler holds a Master of Science degree in Sport Psychology and a Master of Education degree from The University of Ottawa.

Since 2016, Kyler has been a Professor of Sport Psychology and Mental Performance Coach at both Trent University and Fleming College in Peterborough. Kyler also acts as an independent mental performance consultant for professional hockey players and athletes in Finland and the Greater Toronto Area.

Kyler will be joining CIHA as a Teacher, Mental Performance Coach and will act as an Assistant Coach within our hockey program!
