MILO ROELENS JOINS GATINEAU OLYMPIQUES
01/08/2020Milo Roelens has joined the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) on a full-time basis after splitting his season between Midget Green and Gatineau.
A 6’6 forward with high-end skill, Milo was having a dominant season for Midget Green with 38 points in 22 games, a point per game average of 1.73 which was 3rd in Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) at the time of his departure.Milo also played 9 games for Gatineau during that time, chipping in with one assist. He now joins his brother, Métis, who is an assistant captain with Gatineau.Milo was a great contributor on and off the ice at CIHA, helping his team to a team 19-11-0 record and the 4th best offense in HEO.”It was a pleasure to coach Milo this season,” said Midget Green Head Coach, Alain Raymond. “He brought a lot to the team and in a short amount of time we witnessed him mature both as a player and a young man.
