On March 1st, CIHA sent two mixed teams to compete in a day tournament in nearby Clarence Creek, with one of our teams finishing first place.
Congratulations to Coach Joey and his mixed team on taking first place in the Rockland DHS Tournament. They took down local teams Russell, Rockland and CIHA’s other mixed team to secure the top spot.Both CIHA teams featured a variety of students from the Midget AAA teams, Midget AA, Bantam, and Varsity. It was a fun experience for all those who participated because of the opportunity to play with athletes you normally don’t take the ice with. It was also great chance to showcase the progress of the Varsity squad and show that all the hard work they have put in is paying off.
