As we enter into the holiday break, that means it’s time for the annual tradition of the McLeod Cup, an event that everyone circles on their calendars.

The McLeod Cup features staff, remaining students and some alumni in a fun, but always competitive tournament. All participants are pooled together and the teams are drafted by the goalies, who were Louis Barbes, Alex Beaupre, Sebastien Bourgeau, Myles Henderson, Ivan Izotov, Noah Martin, Pryce Pepabano, and our Goaltending Coach Mathieu Chenier.

The game format would be triple knockout, where winning teams continue on but losing teams must earn their way back. Lose three games and you’re eliminated.

The finals featured Team Henderson vs Team Martin. Congratulations to Team Martin who came out on top as the 2024 McLeod Cup winners!

It was the perfect way to cap off the first three and a half months of school by bringing the CIHA family together one last time in 2024 before the holiday break!
