From November 11th-13th, U17 and U18 Prep were in Pittsfield, Massachusetts for the Selects Fall Invite.

The teams travelled on Thursday and arrived in the evening before the action began on Friday.

They would each play one game on Friday and then attend an NCAA Division I game between the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Boston University. That was a great experience for the boys as they got to see first-hand the facilities, atmosphere and style of play of an NCAA Division I game. Alum Dylan Peterson and St. Louis Blues 3rd round draft pick currently plays for Boston University, but unfortunately was not in the lineup for this game.

Both teams would play two more games on Saturday to complete the round robin. U17 Prep finished 1-1-1 and U18 Prep went 3-0, scoring 19 goals and incredibly not allowing a single one. U18 would advance to the semi-finals where once again they pitched a 4-0 shutout. They would unfortunately be on the wrong end of another shutout as they would fall 3-0 in the finals.

All in all it was an invaluable experience for our boys and a great weekend on the road
