Congratulations to our U16 squad who won their division at the Greater Kingston Fall Bash!

They went 3-1 in the Round Robin with wins over the Brantford 99’ers, Clarington Toros and Fort Erie Falcons, and loss to the Greater Kingston Jr. Gaels.

They faced the Rochester Americans in the semi-finals, winning 4-2 and setting up a rematch against the host Jr. Gaels where they got their revenge with a dominant effort and 5-1 win.

Two weeks ago at the Ottawa Senators AAA Showcase, U16 had a strong showing but ultimately fell short in the finals. U16 has shown steady improvement since the start of the season and you could feel this one coming.

Also attending the Greater Kingston Fall Bash was U15 and U18 White, who both fared well in the tournament.

U15 went 1-1-2 and finished with a +3 goal differential. They just missed making the final 4 due to a tiebreaker. Their only loss was a 3-2 defeat to the eventual tournament winners in the Quinte Red Devils.

U18 White finished 1-2-1 with a dominant win and lopsided loss, while their other loss was only by one goal.

All three teams are back at it this weekend as they travel to Sudbury for the Big Nickel Tournament.
