PETERSON SELECTED TO 2018-19 USA U17 NATIONAL TEAM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
05/10/2018Congratulations to CIHA White forward, Dylan Peterson, who is among the 21 players named to the USA U17 NTDP for the 2018-19 season.
In March, Dylan attended the U17 evaluation camp and made an impression, paving the way for his selection to the team. The Boston University commit now has an opportunity to continue his development in one of the top programs in the country.The USA NTDP is a prestigious program that has teams at the U17 and U18 level. Both teams are based out of a state of the art facility in Plymouth, Michigan and play in the United States Hockey League, which is a tier I league in the USA. The goal of the NTDP is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on the U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers. The NTDP has produced a number of NHL stars such as Patrick Kane, Phil Kessel and Auston Matthews.Dylan has produced a staggering 104 points in 81 games at Major Bantam AAA and Midget AAA in his two years at CIHA. He also played 5 games for the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the Canada Central Hockey League, and is fully prepared to take on his next challenge for the NTDP.For more information and the full roster, click here.
