PETERSON ATTENDS USA NTDP EVALUATION CAMP
03/23/2018Current student Dylan Peterson is among the top 26 American-born forwards born in 2002, and is vying for a spot on the U17 USA National Team Development Program (NTDP).
The USA NTDP is a full-time development program dedicated to preparing student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers. The camp is currently taking place at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan and runs from March 23-27. This is a monumental accomplishment for Dylan, as he has been identified as an elite hockey player in the U.S.A. and has a chance to further his development in this program that has produced NHL stars such as Patrick Kane and Auston Matthews. The competition will be intense though, as over half of the invites have committed to NCAA Division I programs along with Dylan, who is committed to Boston University.Dylan led CIHA White in assists with 23, and points with 35 in 29 games this season and added another 9 points in 6 playoff games. He also played in 5 games for the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the CCHL. For more information on the camp and the full roster, click here.
