Pair of Students Drafted to USPHL
05/14/2024Congratulations to Dominique Allard and Noah Martin, who were both drafted by the Utica Jr. Comets of the National Collegiate Development Conference in the United States Premier Hockey League.
Dominique was drafted in the 5th round, 82nd overall and Noah was selected in the 11th round, 193rd overall.
Dominique, a smooth skating two-way defenseman from Canton de Hatley, Quebec, put up 11 points in 31 games for U18 Prep this season. This was Dominique’s first season with CIHA.
Noah, a 5’10 goaltender from Embrun, Ontario had a 7-10-2 record with U16 Prep. Noah just completed his second season at CIHA.
The USPHL is based in the United States and is seen as a developmental path to the NCAA. The National Collegiate Development Conference is the USPHL’s top junior division.
