Pair of Alumni Rated for 2021 NHL Draft
10/28/2020An early look at the 2021 NHL Draft has alumni Manix Landry and Ryan Remick listed as “C” prospects in the Central Scouting Preliminary Players to Watch List.
A “C” ranking indicates being a 4th/5th/6th/ round candidate.Manix played one season at CIHA in 2017-2018, putting up 19 points in 29 games at the Midget AAA level.A 5’11 center, Manix was drafted in the 3rd round, 39th overall in 2018 by the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He has begun his 3rd season for the Olympiques and was named captain in early October.Ryan played two seasons at CIHA from 2017-2019, scoring 27 points in 30 games at the Bantam AAA level and then putting up 42 points in 43 games in Midget AAA the following season.A 6’0 center/left wing, Ryan was drafted in the 13th round, 256th overall in 2019 by the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League. He instead chose to play High-School prep hockey where he is entering his second season at Kent School. Ryan has also committed to University of Maine in Division I of the NCAA beginning in the 2021-2022 season.
