Alum Dylan Peterson Makes NHL Debut

10/14/2026

Congratulations to alum Dylan Peterson, who made his National Hockey League debut on Tuesday evening for the St. Louis Blues!

Dylan, a 6’4 forward had 8:57 in ice time and finished +1 while adding 4 hits. He also capped his off his NHL debut with a fight late in the 3rd period.

Back in 2020, the Blues selected Dylan in the 3rd round, 86th overall in the NHL Draft. After he completed 4 years at Boston University, he joined the Blues American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. He would play two full seasons there from 2024-2026, and at this year’s training camp, he had a strong showing but was one of the final cuts for the Blues.

On October 10th, Dylan received the news that he would be called up and make his NHL debut shortly after. It has been 6 years in the making for Dylan who always dreamed of pulling on the Blues jersey.

The Blues next game is October 15th and we hope to see Dylan in the lineup again!

Dylan is now the 5th CIHA alumni to play in the NHL.
