Two Alumni Ranked for 2021 NHL Draft
05/28/2021The National Hockey League’s Central Scouting has released their final rankings for the 2021 Draft with alumni Manix Landry and Milo Roelens being listed.
Manix is ranked 108th and Milo is 217th among North American Skaters.Manix, a 5’11 centre has just completed his 3rd season for the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.In his first two seasons in Gatineau, Manix combined for 50 points in 116 games and this year he showed tremendous improvement in the shortened season with 23 points in 29 games and was also named team captain.Manix played one season at CIHA in 17-18, contributing 19 points in 29 games for White U18 AAA. His younger brother Lukas is currently in his 2nd season at CIHA.Milo, a 6’6 left winger just finished his 2nd season in the QMJHL.He started the year as a teammate with Manix in Gatineau but was traded to Sherbrooke where he took advantage of his new opportunity. He had 1 point in 8 games in Gatineau and 11 points in 22 games after the trade to Sherbrooke. The previous season he had 2 points in 28 games in Gatineau.Milo played one season at CIHA in 19-20, scoring 38 points in 24 games for Green U18 AAA.The 2021 NHL Draft takes place on July 23-24.To date, we have had 5 alumni selected in the NHL Draft. They are: Gabriel Vilardi (2017, Los Angeles), Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (2018, Toronto), Jasper Weatherby (2018, San Jose), Donovan Sebrango (2020, Detroit), and Dylan Peterson (2020, St. Louis).
