
PETERSON ATTENDS USA BOYS SELECTS U15 DEVELOPMENT CAMP
07/24/2017From July 15th-19th, current CIHA student Dylan Peterson took part in the USA Boys Selects U15 Development Camp in Amherst, New York.
The Development Camp brings the best U15 players from across the USA for a few days of practices, games and off-ice training. Scouts are also in attendance to begin compiling lists and reports on the next wave of top prospects.Eligible for the 2018 OHL Priority Selecion, Peterson, at 6’3 and 183 pounds already has scouts praising him for his size and skill, labeling him as a top 5 pick in 2018. .@CIHAcademy’s Dylan Peterson in attendance. All else equal, a top 5 pick. https://t.co/vajfuHWDHo— Brent Craswell (@brent_craswell) July 16, 2017While the OHL would be an option for Peterson, he has already made a verbal committment to the Boston University Terriers starting in 2020.Peterson will return to CIHA for the 2017-2018 season and his first full season in Midget AAA. Last season, Peterson dominated Major Bantam AAA, scoring 23 goals and 25 assists in 29 games to lead the league. He also scored 6 goals and 5 assists in 13 games during call-ups for Midget Green AAA, showing he is more than prepared to take the next step in his hockey career.
