BOLDUC DRAFTED BY ROUYN NORANDA OF QMJHL
06/05/2017Congratulations to Luka Bolduc who was drafted in the 8th round, 138th overall by the Rouyn Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
The QMJHL is a Tier I Junior League based out of Quebec, but also has teams in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and is part of the Canadian Hockey League.Bolduc, from Montreal, Quebec, plays for Midget White AAA and is in his second year at CIHA. A 6’3 defenceman, Luka uses his size and reach to his advantage around the net and in the corners, while also chipping in offensively with his booming shot.In his two seasons at CIHA, Luka has 17 points in 66 regular season games and another 6 points in 10 playoff games. This season, he helped Midget White capture the 2017 Academy Division Championship. We would like to wish Luka all the best as he continues the next step of his hockey career.
