Congratulations to Aries Benuen, who was named the CSSHL U18 Eastern Division’s Top Freshman.
Aries, a 6’0 defenseman from Sheshatshiu, Newfoundland put up 8 points in 28 games for CIHA U18 Prep.Still just 15 years old, Aries excelled on the ice against competition three years older than him.Aries started at CIHA in 2019-2020 as an underage player for U15 AAA, scoring 2 goals in 11 games. He would’ve played his true U15 season last year if not for Covid-19 and has now made the leap to U18 Prep.Aries will be returning for his 4th season at CIHA in 2022-2023.
