It didn’t take long for Semyon Der-Arguchintsev(SDA) to make a lasting impression on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Maple Leafs signed the 76th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft to a three-year entry level contract immediately after playing in his first NHL pre-season game on Friday night.It was a busy summer for SDA after getting drafted on June 23rd. He attended the Maple Leafs Development Camp the following Monday, then took part in the Rookie Tournament on September 8-9th before joining the Maple Leafs for their main Training Camp on September 13th.SDA is likely to be sent to the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League for his 3rd season, and will be counted on as the offensive catalyst for his team.SDA joins Gabriel Vilardi as alumni who have signed NHL contracts.
