This program is designed for students who no longer attend CIHA’s on-site hockey program but wish to continue their education through NPU with the goal of eventually achieving an Ontario High School Diploma.

Includes:

• Up to 4 online courses per semester
• Periodic check-ins via emails and/or zoom meetings
• Help with any issues encountered in the course
• Advice and assistance with course selection, graduation requirements, university/college admissions in Canada and overseas, & NCAA eligibility

Advantages:

• Familiar staff who already know the student
• No need to transfer to another school.
• Registering through CIHA ensures student transcript and graduation diploma comes from NPU Canada.
• Principal who knows the student well and can advocate on their behalf to the online teacher, who does not know the student
• Parent communication if needed or required
• Accountability - deadlines to meet
• Option to return and participate in a graduation with former classmates
