As we enter into the holiday break, that means it’s time for the annual tradition of the McLeod Cup, an event that everyone circles on their calendars.

The McLeod Cup features staff and remaining students in a fun, but always competitive tournament. All participants are pooled together and the teams are drafted by the goalies, who were Pryce Pepabano, Mavrik Stosik, Thomas Flint, Timofey Vasilyev, Shahrukh Levac, and our Goaltending Coach Mathieu Chenier.

The game format would be double knockout, where winning teams continue on but losing teams must earn their way back. Lose two games and you’re eliminated.

The finals featured Team Levac vs Team Pepabano. It would be a one goal game until the final few minutes where Team Levac turned it on and scored multiple times to seal the game. Congratulations to Team Levac as the 2025 McLeod Cup winners!

It was the perfect way to cap off the first three and a half months of school by bringing the CIHA family together one last time in 2025 before the holiday break!
