The weekly wrap-up summarizes each game over the past week and looks ahead to future games.
Midget AA (3)
A pair of power-play goals by Leo Haban and Daniil Sayamov got things started in the 1st period. OHA would crawl back though and tie the game midway through the 3rd period and that’s how things would end. Ryan Hutcheson scored the other goal while John Burbidge played well between the pipes.
Back on the ice less than 24 hours later, the AA’s were down by two goals but scored a pair in less than two minutes to tie things up. Gloucester would go ahead late in the 2nd but the AA’s would be unable to score the equalizer in the 3rd period. Ernests Berzins and Dov Reboh were your goal scorers while Francis Plant took the loss in goal.
Igor Zborovskiy opened the scoring with his team leading 10th goal, but that’s all the offense the Bantam’s could muster. The boys would push for that go-ahead goal but Ottawa would net the game winner early in the 3rd to take this one.
It was the Leo Haban show in the 1st period as he scored both goals to give his team a 2-0 lead after one. RSL would cut that lead in half but Captain Connor Radclyffe-Smith would seal the game with an empty-netter. Tristan Falsetto was strong in nets for the win.
It was a great start for Midget White as Bayley Harewood opened the scoring just over a minute into the game but the wheels fell off after that. Smiths Falls would score the next 5 goals over two periods to take this one.
The High-School boys hit the road to St. Agathe des Monts on Tuesday morning, looking forward to a tune-up before an upcoming tournament in early December! Ryder Sheridan was in strong form, scoring two goals while call-up Daniel Johnson scored the other as they just fell short in this one.
