Three Alumni Set for NHL Draft

With the 2020 NHL Entry Draft being held on October 6-7th, alumni Dylan Peterson, Donovan Sebrango and Pavel Gogolev have been listed on numerous mock drafts and are primed to hear their names called next week.
Dylan Peterson is 43rd among North American Skaters in the NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings, prospect guru Corey Pronman of the Athletic has Dylan as the 82nd best prospect (behind paywall) while TSN’s Bob McKenzie has him ranked 47th overall.

Donovan Sebrango is 59th among North American Skaters in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings, Corey Pronman has Donovan ranked 60th overall (behind paywall) while Bob McKenzie has him at 57th overall.

Pavel Gogolev is ranked 107th in the NHL Central Scouting list among North American Skaters, Corey Pronman has him as the 50th best prospect (behind paywall) and Draft Site has him ranked at #115.

While each player has varied rankings, they have been on NHL scouts radars for years and bring a unique skill set that is coveted at the pro level.

During their time at CIHA, these boys were fantastic players on the ice but even better role models and leaders off of it. They deserve every bit of praise they’ve gotten through their hard work, determination and attention to detail and we wish them nothing but the best as they await their name to be called by an NHL franchise.
