After a scoreless 1st period, the goals came fast and furious as Green doubled up on Maroon. Nikita Tiatinkin led the way the 3 goals and 1 assist, while Nic Pigeon had 1 goal and 2 assists. Viktor Tiatinkin stopped 25 shots for the win.
It was an offensive explosion for White in this one, highlighted by a pair of short-handed goals by Andrei Svalov and Gion Coray, who both assisted the other person’s goal. Spencer Beloff (2g) and Ron Norton-McGregor (1g, 2a) also had multi-point games while Francis Plant was strong in goal with 30 saves.
The AA boys would build a 3-0 lead only to see Ottawa rattle off four straight goals to take the lead. Ryder Sheridan would score late in the 3rd to tie things up and that’s where things would finish. A great all-around game by the boys who were facing one of the stronger teams in the league.
This one would go down as a heartbreaker as Ottawa would score with one second left to get the win. Ilnar Fakhrtudinov and Andrei Svalov each chipped in with a goal and an assist while Francis Plant was strong in goal with 32 saves.
After giving up the first goal of the game, Midget would turn on the offense and never look back. Damien Ledermann and Milo Roelens would each net a hat-trick, while Slava Melikov (3a) and Luca Erne (1g, 2a) each contributed 3 points.
Hugo Letellier scored a pair of goals including the game winner as the AA’s built a 4-0 lead after two periods. Cumberland would add two goals in the 3rd period but the AA’s would stand their ground for the win. Jerry Kim (2a) and Jack Percy (1g, 1a) would add some offense while Landry Laird picked up the win in goal.
