Midget White fought hard in this one, firing 33 shots on net but only managed one goal by Rylan Neeposh. Francis Plant had a strong game in goal, stopping 35 of 38 shots.
The Bantam’s would fall in an early 3-0 hole but fought back to make it 3-2, only to see Ottawa score 4 straight to take over the game. Daniel Johnson and Timur Kadirov scored their team’s two goals.
After giving up the first two goals of the game, Green’s offense exploded and took over the game, outscoring Rockland 6-1 the rest of the way. Nikita Tiatinkin (3g, 2a) led the way with a 5 point night and his 4th hat-trick of the season. Milo Roelens (1g, 3a) and Slava Melikov (4a) also had big nights.
The highlight of the night came from Artur Zaripov, who scored an unbelievable goal on a penalty shot which turned out to be the game-winner. Click the photo below to watch.

Bantam (3)
Eastern Ontario (7)
The Bantam’s, down 4-0 late in the 2nd period turned things around quickly as they scored three straight goals to bring themselves within one goal. Unfortunately, that’s as close as they would get as the Wild would score the next three. The Bantam’s continue to show flashes of greatness as they hang with the top teams in the league. Now it’s just about putting that effort together for the entire game.
