Midget White (4)
Plenty of back and forth action in this one, but in the end it would be settled as a tie. Strong offensive performances were had by Patrick Maule (3a), Thomas Odermatt (1g, 2a) and Ryan Remick (2g), while Nicolas Odermatt scored the other goal. Charlie Duncan made 29 saves between the pipes.
High-School (5) Shootout
With their families in town for Parents’ Weekend, the High-School boys sure put on a show in this one. They got their wish with 5 minutes of 3on3 which solved nothing, and then a shootout where Colton Bertagna would score the winner. Daniel Johnson and Anthony Hebbes scored in regulation, while David Swanson and Hugo Letellier each chipped in with 2 assists. Alex Cloutier backstopped his team to victory.
High-School would run out of steam in this one, while Embrun was using an entirely different and rested lineup. Goals were scored by Ryder Sheridan and Evgenii Kurov, while Zach Scholar chipped in with 2 assists.
With their families in the crowd, the Bantams put forward one of their best efforts this season to take down rival academy OHA. Igor Zborovskiy (3g) led the way, while Genrikh Rozhkov (2a), Mathieu Fehr (2a) and Stanley Johnston (2a) chipped in offensively. Monty Tucker and Daniel Johnson also scored goals.
