We are very excited to announce that CIHA will now be offering a Development Day Program for student athletes in grades 5 to 8.

For the past 9 years The Canadian International Hockey Academy has successfully provided an elite hockey development program completely integrated with a private school education for students from grade 9-12. This NEW development program will allow students in grades 5 to 8 to now gain access to every young hockey player's dream.

The program will feature:
  • A 5 day week schedule
  • 1 hour of on ice training run by our professional coaches 4-5 days a week
  • 1 hour 15 minutes of off ice training in our purpose built gym provided by Fitquest
  • Regular player/coach meetings for video analysis and evaluation
  • 3 academic periods throughout the school day delivered by Blyth Academy
  • Small class sizes with enhanced cleaning and safety protocols approved in collaboration with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
  • Daily bus transportation provided with pick-up and drop-off locations in various parts of the city

With the uncertainty of when minor hockey will start, CIHA’s elite development day program will provide your child with top level training 5 days a week paired with a private school education.

At CIHA we challenge our students in the classroom and on the ice, developing young athletes’ minds, bodies, and spirits. We prepare them for the next steps in their education and beyond.

These are formative years of self-discovery and personal growth for your child. We know that finding the best fit—academically, athletically and socially—is hugely important for parents in choosing a school. We honour the trust you place in us. We’re proud to help your child meet the challenges of the complex world in which we live.
