On Friday morning, the students at CIHA were able to take part in a once in a lifetime experience: A chance to skate on the Canada 150 Rink located on Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa.
This NHL sized rink was constructed in part of the year-long celebration for Canada’s 150th Anniversary. The rink was even had its own Zamboni to keep the ice in near perfect condition.The boys and some staff members spent about an hour on the ice enjoying the perfect weather and taking in the surroundings, as the Peace Tower provided an exceptional drop for the rink. It was a definitely a unique moment that will be remembered for a very long time!Check out our Facebook page for more pictures.
