CIHA ALUMNI PROFILE- EDIE LEVESQUE
08/12/2016Coming off a CIS Finals appearance last season, Edie Levesque is eager for a repeat. She and her sister, Evra Levesque, are hoping to take the Western University Mustangs all the way to the championship.
Edie credits her two years at CIHA for her smooth transition to university and CIS hockey. As she explains “CIHA is like a small university, the campus and dorms allow you to immerse yourself in the school, while the hockey program gives you the stamina and skills to endure the rigours of elite university hockey.” This off-season she returned to CIHA to help instruct the summer camps, using the knowledge she learned from veteran players like Katelyn Goslin and her time as a CIS player, Edie teaches young and upcoming hockey players the skills they need to reach their potential. As she heads to Western for her second year of Social Sciences, Edie is ready to reconnect with her teammates and get into the routine of classes and hockey. We wish her all the best next season and can’t wait to follow her and her sister as they continue their CIS careers.
