ALUM SEBRANGO MAKES TEAM CANADA U18 SQUAD

07/31/2019

Congratulations to Donovan Sebrango who was selected as one of 22 players representing Team Canada U18 at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Donovan is one of 7 defensemen named to the team after attending the Selection Camp with his peers this past week. No matter the challenge in front of him, Donovan continues to exceed expectations as he develop into an elite hockey player with a very bright future. Being selected as one of the top defensemen in your age group for your country is a huge honour and a true testament to the hard work Donovan has put in over the years. After amassing 68 points in 98 games over three seasons at CIHA, Donovan enjoyed an outstanding rookie season for the Kitchener Rangers where he finished with 26 points in 62 games and was named Rookie of the Year and Top Offensive Defenseman on his Rangers squad. Last summer, Donovan was invited to the Team Canada U17 camp where he made the squad and played in all 5 games, contributing 2 assists. It’s safe to say that Hockey Canada is well aware of who Donovan Sebrango is and what he brings to the table. The Hlinka Gretzky Cup takes place from August 5th-10th in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia.
