Apple Financial Services makes recommendations to CIH Academy based on the information you provide in the Parent's Financial Statement. Apple Financial Services’ analysis is based on a process developed by a standing committee of experienced financial aid officers. The estimated parental contribution determined in the report is a recommendation only.
The CIH Academy's Financial Aid Review Committee makes all decisions regarding the actual amount of aid offered. The Committee does its best to distribute aid as broadly and as fairly as possible. We assume that parents, to the extent that they are able, will bear the primary responsibility for financing their child's education.
There is no simple answer to this question. Each application is unique and each year the funds available and the number of applicants vary. It is important for applicants to recognize that the CIH Academy financial aid program is meant to supplement, not replace, the family's financial commitment.
At CIH Academy, we believe in fairness. For that reason, the maximum financial aid a student may receive is 50 percent of the tuition cost for the year he or she is applying.
