Student Health

CIH Academy strives to ensure the well-being of its students. In the event of an injury or illness, students can go to the Clarence-Rockland Family Health Team 1 km down the road or the on-campus infirmary, consisting of offices, beds, and all the facilities necessary to treat and isolate sick students. There will also be a Registered Nurse on call at all times in case of health issues. For more serious health concerns, exceptional medical facilities are located in nearby Ottawa.

Campus Security

The safety of your student is our top priority just as it is yours. CIH Academy will provide a safe campus where your student will feel secure. The campus will be well-lit, staffed 24 hours a day and the residences will feature controlled entries via secure access cards.

It is important that our students have access to parent-like advice along with being well-supervised. Each student residence will therefore be supervised by a resident "House Parent" who will live in the dormitory among the students. The House Parent will be supported by select senior students who have demonstrated leadership and responsibility. Having in-house supervision will provide a safe, secure and controlled environment for our students.
